
Latha Alaparthi MD obtained medical degree from JJMMC in Karnataka, India. Internal medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Norwalk Hospital a Yale affiliated program and Yale New Haven hospital program respectively. Since completing fellowship in 2001 has been in Private practice at Gastroenterology center of CT. In addition to busy full time private practice she has teaching appointments at Yale Univ School of medicine and Frank Netter School of medicine as Asst clinical professor.
Dr. Alaparthi is involved in many activities over the years starting with streamlining schedules and improving efficiencies, optimizing individual budgets early years of practice to being managing partner of group for >5years and voluntarily transitioning to Director of committee operations, her current responsibility at Gastroenterology center of CT. Outside of practice leadership positions have ranged from Chief of GI at a community hospital to President of medical staff, board member of MSO, executive medical staff member of Yale new haven hospital.
Through DHPA, AGA, Ct state medical society, ACG she is involved in advocacy and has visited capitol several times.
