James J. Weber, MD

Jim Weber is a gastroenterologist who is the founder and CEO of the GI Alliance. This physician-led, national healthcare platform of independent GI practices currently includes over 350 gastroenterologists in six states. Dr. Weber devotes a majority of his time supporting the GI Alliance, while still practicing gastroenterology in Southlake Texas.

The GI Alliance physicians are actively involved in the Digestive Health Physician Association which is a non-profit political advocacy voice for gastroenterologists and our patients. Dr. Weber is honored to serve as the incoming President for DHPA.

Dr. Weber received his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School, internal medicine residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and GI fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center all in Dallas Texas. He has been awarded “Doctor of the Year” by the Crohn and Colitis Foundation of North Texas, “Best Doctors in Dallas” in D Magazine, “Top Doctors in Tarrant County” by Fort Worth Magazine, and is quoted frequently from national meetings at which he speaks promoting independent GI practices and quality care for all of our patients.
