Dr. Bruce Hennessy is a gastroenterologist and managing partner at Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc.  (OGG). Located in Central Ohio, OGG is comprised of 36 gastroenterologists, 12 advanced practice providers, 4 ambulatory surgical centers, 5 clinical offices, 4 real estate and a capital leasing entities.  In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Hennessy serves on the Health and Public Policy Committee for the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).  Locally, he serves as the Gastroenterology Section Chair and Medical Director for Riverside Methodist Hospital; Medical Director for Dublin Methodist Hospital; and is on the Board of Directors for the Digestive Health Network.  Dr. Hennessy received his MD from The Ohio State University in 1999 and completed a Digestive Disease Fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2005.  He is married to Shivkamini Somasundaram MD, a practicing OBGYN and has 4 children, ages 18, 16 and 12 year old twins.
