Harald L. Schoeppner, MD

Dr. Schoeppner completed his Medical School in Wuerzburg, Germany. Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology took place at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan with additional training in Advanced Endoscopy in Munich.

Dr. Schoeppner was among the first GI hospitalists in the US, when he joined a busy GI practice in Tacoma, WA. After a brief stent in Walla Walla, WA he settled in Portland, OR, where he serves as the Director of Gastroenterology for Legacy Medical Group. With Legacy Health Systems, he developed an Ambulatory Surgical Center in Gresham, OR.

He is a member of AGA, ASGE, ACG and CCFA. Dr. Schoeppner served as Governor for ACG in Washington State and remains involved in local and regional GI organizations.
