Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for visiting the GI Roundtable website.

We hope you will decide to join us for GI Roundtable 2018, the 8th installment of our annual health policy and practice management conference for gastroenterologists and GI practice administrators.

For GIRT 2018 we will move to a new location, and we will be pulling out all the stops!

The conference will be held on March 16-17, 2018 at the magnificent Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, just minutes from Capitol Hill.

GIRT 2018 will once again address the entire spectrum of critically important strategic and operational practice issues. We will explore healthcare policies and politics, and their implications for our practices. And we will do so with the largest faculty ever assembled for this kind of conference.

The timing and location of the event will allow us access to top notch keynote speakers.

We are exceedingly fortunate to have New York Times columnist, best-selling author and political commentator David Brooks join us to give the opening keynote address and provide us with his view on the politics of the day.

The conference format will again emphasize exchange of ideas and networking among practice leadership and with industry representatives. And we will have a good time, reconnect with friends, and enjoy an evening reception with live music from outstanding artists.

Please enjoy reviewing the program and consider joining us for this unique event. The healthcare environment continues to change at a rapid pace. The best way to deal with these changes is to avoid reinventing the wheel but instead come together to keep well informed, learn from each other’s successes and failures, and to jointly develop strategies to keep our GI groups well positioned for future success.

We hope to see you at the Gaylord in March!

Best regards,

Klaus Mergener, M.D., Ph.D.
